All in all, Hunted is a very enjoyable read, especially for those who enjoy angel/demon books. This one has everything you want in an angel book while still maintaining its own distinct feel. ~TeresaMaryRose

This series is addictive. ~Author Kate Kaynak

AMAZING! There is not enough words to describe how much I loved Hunted. Ednah Walters has outdid herself if that is even possible. ~Megan McDade

My Review

The Guardian Legacy continues in this action packed adventure where good and evil is in constant battle to keep the balance.

Lil, Bran and the rest of the Junior Cardinals are helping to cancel the contracts of the damned souls, to return their souls.  However, when one person is attacked and his memory is totally erased, they wonder what type of demon can do that kind of damage.  The Junior cardinals are taking a break on their secret island, when these cloud demons attack them, and Lil is attacked and knocked out.  When she wakes, she has lost four months of her memory and the Kris Dagger is "broken".

Lil feels the Senior Cardinals know more than they are letting on, and ban the Junior Cardinals from going after these cloud demons.  Bran has his theories, but can't confirm them without finding his brother.

Hunted is so action packed that it has my mind reeling!  Lil is confident in her fighting abilities, and her love for Bran.  The Junior Cardinals are loyal and strong, and the team keeps getting better, even with their innocent bickering and flirting.  Some of my favorite characters are still in the story, which wouldn't be the same without them.  Some new characters are introduced, which I learned to adore the more that I got to know them.

I love how the unexpected twists in the plot unfolds at just the right moment to throw you off guard. The ending was powerful with the last battle, leaving me quit sad for the ones that were lost.  oh yes, I had tears.  However, a whole new kind of battle is revealed that Lil will have to live through.  Ednah really has me hanging with this ending!!  It's an incredible read, has left me speechless, and I have fallen for the Guardian Legacy all over again.

Author Ednah Walters

I grew up reading Nancy Drew and Hardy boys mysteries, hence Stratemeyer influence, before I graduated to Mills & Boons (starting with Janet Daily's Shutter the Sky) and the rest is history. I enjoy good love stories, tingly mysteries and wondrous adventures. When I finished my college and decided to be a stay-at-home mother, I devoured books like they were going out of production, until reading just wasn't enough. So I started to write. I've written picture books, contemporary and romantic suspense, biracial/multicultural books, and finally YA fantasy. Awakened is the first book in The Guardian Legacy series. I'm working on book 2, tentatively named Betrayed. When I'm not writing, I do things with my family, five children or my darling husband of 18 years. I live in a picturesque valley in Utah, the setting for my series.
